"Transforming CFD mesh structures into digital art"
"Transforming CFD mesh structures into digital art"
Dr Discode is an engineer with a deep passion for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Throughout his career, he aspired to become a CFD engineer, but his professional journey ultimately followed a different direction. Although his career changed, his fascination with computational geometry and mesh generation never faded.
Working across different environments and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds inspired him to reflect on the complexity of human society. Every individual, like every computational mesh, is unique. Different structures, perspectives, and connections together create something much larger than their individual parts.
Each artwork begins with a computational mesh generated from simple two-dimensional geometries using professional CFD meshing techniques. These technical structures are then carefully transformed through digital coloring and graphic design, giving each mesh its own identity and visual character.
The collection does not represent scientific simulations or engineering results. Instead, it reimagines engineering geometry as an artistic medium. Meshes that were originally created for engineering become symbols of diversity, individuality, and the intricate patterns that connect people and society
